The Colors of Hope Honoree Awards are presented to individuals who have demonstrated dedication and commitment to TanAngels4ever, Inc. through generous donations, volunteerism and other notable investments. Honorees will be acknowledged by the Foundation in recognition of their generosity, support and contributions.
Awarded to an individual or business who has significantly impacted the Foundation with a substantial sponsorship, advertisement and/or partnership. This recipient has afforded the Foundation with philanthropic support and additional resources to maintain the mission and vision of the Foundation.
Traci Cartwright Boysaw was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. She is a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University, (BA Media Management) and Barry University where she earned her Masters in Educational Leadership. An educator for 31 years, she has worked for the Dekalb County Public School System and the Palm Beach County School District.
Traci is an experienced instructional coach and mentor. She is skilled in staff development, elementary curriculum, classroom management, and teaching. She has been recognized in the Palm Beach Post as a Teacher of the Week. Although she is proud of the students that she has taught throughout the years, she is most proud of her decision to mentor, educate and advise teachers; she is a Peer Assistance and Review consultant.
Mrs. Boysaw is the President of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s Zeta Tau Omega Chapter in West Palm Beach. She is also the Community Relations Director of the Accident Injury and Negligent Security Law Firm founded by her husband, Bryan K. Boysaw Sr., which bears the name Boysaw Law.
Awarded to recognize an individual or businesses entity who has devoted resources, and/or exhibited an exemplary, collaborative community spirit through direct support and partnership with the Foundation. This recipient has tirelessly and selflessly supported the Foundation’s community efforts.
Michael E. Johnson, born and raised in Pahokee, FL., was introduced to entrepreneurship and instilling high morals and family values as a young man from his father. After graduating from high school, Michael enrolled at Temple University on a football scholarship where he majored in Business. After college, Michael signed on to play professional football with the Arizona Cardinals. Per his professional football career, he returned to Palm Bach County and in 1999, launched the first upscale metropolitan social networking event at the Airport Hilton, “The Palm Beach Life”.
Michael Johnson has owned a number of profitable businesses and commercial venues, which includes the worldly famous urban night club “TKO”, and RJ’s Restaurant and Lounge. He is currently the Owner of Zara’s Jazz Café’ Restaurant and Grand Ballroom in Palm Beach County; granting the needs of Social Soirée, Weddings, Bar Mitzvah’s, and political events.
Michael has given back to the community by providing gratuitously to non-profits, other businesses and organizations. He is engaged to Ms. Cynthia Jackson and a loving Father to Mikia, Eric and Joya Johnson.
